Principles and Implementation Strategies for Reducing Recidivism and Improving Other Outcomes for Justice-Involved Youth
This publication from the Council of State Governments Justice Center explains how to use research and resources to improve the system and reduce recidivism, as well as other outcomes, for justice-involved youth. It is written for a broad audience including “leaders across all branches of government; juvenile justice administrators, managers, and front-line staff; and researchers, advocates, and other stakeholders.” The white paper is broken into two parts. Part one explains the policies and practices that reduce recidivism for youth and improve outcomes. Part two delineates key implementation strategies.
