Title: Improving Access To Career Pathways For Philadelphia’s Child Welfare And Juvenile Justice System Involved Youth

The goal of this report, generated by the Juvenile Law Center, is “to facilitate the expansion of access to career pathway supports for system-involved youth in Philadelphia….” In order to ensure positive opportunities and outcomes for these youth, practices and polices should include access to vital education and identification documents, career opportunities and technical education, employment services for youth with disabilities, work experience within institutional placements, and a decrease in collateral consequences for youth with criminal records. This report provides substantive solutions and recommendations for change.
