Buckeye United School District
The Ohio Department of Youth Services has its own school district, the Buckeye United School District, which must adhere to the same standards as other schools overseen by the Ohio Department of Education. Students are required to take and pass the same graduation tests as those in traditional high schools. Students are able to graduate with a high school degree or equivalency. Buckeye United School district uses a trauma informed care model, has career and technical education programs, partners with a local university, and has transitions teams.
